Japonica Cottage is a delightful country cottage based in Bourton on the Water, Gloucestershire. Set in a row of five cottages, this charming holiday home is the ideal property for small families. The interior is very welcoming, with the living room boasting a fireplace and exposed beams makes a divine spot for relaxation, with a dining area for foody get-togethers and patio doors opening onto the garden.
With the conservatory boasting a lovely stone wall and a dining area, where you can enjoy quality family time. With the kitchen offering modern fitted units and sleek worktops with an attractive tiled design. The first floor is home to a double bedroom and the second floor has a twin, with a range of wooden furniture to house all your personal items.
To the rear is a shared patio area with a table and chairs provided, and is a real sun trap! With a separate lawned garden and the nearby River Windrush. In the nearby attraction of The Dragonfly Maze, your little ones can get involved with this garden maze with its puzzle holding 14 fun-filled hidden clues to work out - both parents and kids can get involved.

The historic village of Bourton-on-the-Water dates back to Neolithic times with over 100 buildings being Grade II listed or higher. The picturesque high street nestles alongside the River Windrush over which several low stone bridges span, which is why Bourton-on-the-Water is known as the Venice in the Cotswolds.
