Situated at the heart of Upper Heyford village, is this captivating Grade II listed thatched property, Fountain View. Offering a real home away from home, this end-terrace promises a wonderful family retreat to Oxfordshire. Upon entering the property, you are greeted to charming dwelling which has retained a wealth of its original features, including exposed beams and elm wood flooring, oozing charm at every step.
After an action-packed day, be welcomed into a sitting room, where you can kick off your shoes and keep warm in front of a roaring open-fire. Beyond here is an amply equipped kitchen, fulfilling your culinary needs before enjoying a delicious meal within the dining area. Climb the staircase to the first floor to discover two inviting bedrooms, comprising of king-size double bedroom and a standard double.
Of an evening, choose to soak in within the warming bath, where you can truly unwind before heading to bed. If you don’t fancy cooking for the evening, head out to the local pub where you will find a superb menu or visit the take away van situated a little further down the village. To keep you busy whilst staying here the area play host to a number of wonderful attractions, including the Blenheim Palace and Estate and for a spot of shopping head to the Bicester Village designer outlet.
Alternatively, spend the day at the city of Oxford to explore its impressive history and amenities or head to the Cotswold for a countryside walk. Fountain View promises a splendid retreat for an adventure filled holiday with the family.

Upper Heyford is small village resting within Oxfordshire, situated to the North West of Bicester and close to the Cotswold. The village plays host to facilities including a shop, a café, a community centre, a pub and two takeaway vans. Within the area you will find the historic buildings of Rousham Gardens and House and the Blenheim Palace. Further afield, is the city of Oxford offering further amenities and attractions.
